Structural engineer:

Steelwork contactor:
Fairfield Mabey Ltd
Project details:
The East London Line moved nearer to completion when a new 350t railway bridge was lifted into position across Shoreditch High Street.
Twenty M90 high strength Grade 690 ASDO tie bars were supplied by Daver Steels to Fairfield Mabey Ltd, one of Europes leading steel bridge manufacturers.
Each tie bar has a capacity of 3634kN and had to udergo rigourous testing before use on this project. The tie bars and fittings were manufactured in Germany by Daver Steels partner company Anker Schroeder. The ASDO system is the only tie-rod system that meets the demanding European Technical Approval CE ETA-04/0038 for nominal sizes up to M 160
