The landmark Rheola Bridge in Porth, South Wales was part of the £85m Porth relief road project completed in December 2006.
Fairfield-Mabey Ltd are the UK market leader in the supply and erection of steel highway bridges and have selected Daver Steels tie bars on several projects. For the Rheola Bridge project Daver Steels supplied 22 number M90 tie bars fully assembled and with a complete paint system applied. Daver Steels also supplied jacking equipment and expertise to allow the tie bars to be stressed upto 600kN once installed.
