Aintree Racecourse have invested £34m in the redesign and redevelopment of the home of the Grand National.
The project, designed by Building Design Partnership, sees a radical redesign of racecourse facilities. The work includes the building of a new grandstand, re-location of the Parade Ring plus construction of a new Weighing Room and Stable complex
The canopy to the Saddle Bar (immediately above the new weighing room) was designed by Tony Hogg Design Ltd and fabricated and installed by Fabric Architecture Ltd. Daver Steels supplied the M76 and M64 tie downs and the M16 bars to the perimeter of the canopy.
